Service design is an emerging field that uses an interdisciplinary approach to map, evaluate and design the architecture of a service or system of services to create better experiences for customers. AKQA has been keen to embrace the discipline to maintain its leadership position in a market which is constantly transforming. Synthesizing months of research and interviews across the AKQA network, we designed a presentation that proposes a consolidated global definition for the agency's service design practice, substantiates internal value proposition, and creates a common process and playbook.
